Biography

Ira Cooper graduated from Hofstra Law School and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1975. In addition to his 40 years practicing as an attorney in New York, Mr. Cooper has distinguished himself as a leader in Landlord & Tenant Litigation having formerly acted as the President of the Housing Court Bar Association. Mr. Cooper has also been a Lecturer at the New School for Social Research; a Member of the Civil Court Committee of the New York City Bar Association; a Member of the Landlord/Tenant Committee of the New York State Bar Association; and a Lecturer at the Queens County Bar Association for Landlord & Tenant Litigation.
