I am a principal shareholder of Fields, Dehmlow & Vessels, LLC. I limit my practice exclusively to civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, insurance, and employee benefits (ERISA) litigation. I am licensed in both Ohio and West Virginia. We litigate matters throughout Southeastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia, including all of the federal district courts.

Born and raised in Licking County, Attorney Seth Smith earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He went on to graduate from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. On return to Ohio, Seth interned in the Licking County Prosecutor’s Office where he discovered his passion was actually for criminal defense. Since pursuing private practice, Seth has represented numerous clients charged with felonies, misdemeanors and federal crimes. Seth also regularly practices in Franklin County Domestic Relations and Licking County Domestic Relations court representing clients in complicated custody battles, divorces, and other family issues....

Jonathan Layman is a native of Central Ohio and a graduate of both the Ohio State University and Capital University Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review. Jonathan Layman is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is admitted in the State of Ohio and the Federal Southern District of Ohio. His practice focuses on consumer law, landlord tenant law and other civil litigation. I started law school while a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. An engineering education and background did not help with law school, but I find that many engineering principles, diligent analysis, and problem-solving thinking help with actual law practice.

Robert W. Bright (previously of Story Law Office in Pomeroy, Ohio) offers representation for clients in Ohio and West Virginia for a variety of legal matters, and specializes in personal injury litigation. I earned my Juris Doctorate in 1985 and my Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude with distinction in Economics and honors in Liberal Arts) in 1981, both from THE Ohio State University (Go Bucks!). I continued to send lots and lots of money to Ohio State as each of my 4 sons attended there (my daughter went to Otterbein) but still can never seem to get football tickets.
