Jay grew up in Henderson, NC. He graduated from Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, in 1998. He then graduated from law school and UNC-Chapel Hill, with honors, in 2002. Jay focuses on civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of actions, including personal injury, wrongful death, and business and contractual disputes. I have my Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, and my Juris Doctor from Thomas Cooley Law School where I was on the Dean's List, Honor Roll, and made the Law Review. I am a veteran from the United States Army. I worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a Senior Claims Adjuster handling Workers' Compensation, automobile and motorcycle accidents, and other insurance claims.
