I am licensed in Texas, having graduated from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where I served as an editor for SMU’s International Law Review and Chief Counsel in the school’s Consumer Advocacy Clinic.

I graduated from law school in 1991. Upon graduation, I was extended an offer to work for Gardere & Wynne, a large law firm with over 200 lawyers. My area of expertise was corporate bankruptcy. After four years of practicing corporate bankruptcy, I realized that there was a far better use of my skills in my area of expertise.
