I am a registered U.S. Patent Attorney with an Electrical Engineering degree as well as a Juris Doctor law degree. I have over 20 years experience in patent preparation and prosecution, and have successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications to allowance. Donald Michael (Mike) Gunning was born in Houston, Texas and as a young child moved to Spokane, Washington.

Michael did his undergraduate work at Eastern Washington University where he graduated with a degree in Economics. Mr. Gunning then went on to receive his Juris Doctor Degree from Gonzaga University Law School. Mr. Gunning was admitted to practice before all courts in the state of Washington and United States Federal Court. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and Wealth Counsel.
