Legal Answers
1 Questions Answered
- Q. Can I ask for compensation for injuries I received from falling on broken asphalt in a doctor's parking lot.
- A: Yes. First, you must find out who owned the parking lot. Next, you must find out who was responsible for maintaining the parking lot as they may bear some responsibility as well. Take pictures of what caused you to fall. Be prepared to respond to the defense that you were negligent in not avoiding the dangerous area. You will need to prove that the condition that caused you to fall was dangerous, the owner had knowledge of it but failed to remedy. Good luck.
