Ms. Weeks is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a highly sought-after speaker at national and regional conferences. Prior to law school, Ms. Weeks worked as a community developer in Albuquerque’s International District, where she helped to organize an immigrant-run health center, immigrants’ rights workshops, and other programs. She dedicated her law career to lifting the fear and limits from her clients’ shoulders so that they can care for their families, work where they want to work, and live their lives without fear.
Ms. Weeks is married to Shawn Weeks, who is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM), and they have two joyful daughters. Ms. Weeks grew up on a farm, and she is an avid backyard gardener. She enjoys growing wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables, and her husband then loves to turn those fresh ingredients into delicious meals.
