Q. During divorce seperation can wife bring her new lover into my home
A: She "can" bring her lover into your home, but she should not. If she does that, it could have an impact on the outcome of your divorce case. If you have already filed for divorce and are represented by an attorney, you should talk with your attorney about this situation. If you are not represented, I suggest hiring a divorce/family law attorney in your area to assist you with this matter.
Q. We have lived in Al. for over 180 days.have full phys. cust. of son. Mom lives in Mn. Which state do we file in on visit
A: Even though Alabama is the "home state" of the child, MN has continuing jurisdiction because your son's mom still lives there. You could attempt to file in AL; but if your son's mom does not have any connection to Alabama other than your son being here or she seeks to have the case dismissed here because she still lives there, it is likely that the case will be dismissed. Your best bet is to file in MN.
Q. I live in Alabama. If I move out at age 18, can my parents legally bring me back?
A: Technically, the age of majority in Alabama is 19. As such, your parents are still responsible for you until that time.
