Amie D. Miller
Seasoned, strategic and compassionate advocacy for over 25 years.
I have dedicated my career to championing immigrants like you! We know that immigration is a stressful process and we do everything we can to take that stress off your plate and prepare strong, tailored and persuasive immigration filings for our clients.
We have advocated for immigrants for years and we have seen it all. We have a deep understanding of the law, the system, the players and the process. We know each matter is fundamentally important for each client: whether it is family unification, citizenship, career or safety, and we craft our filings to advocate specifically for each person we represent. We listen to our clients and clearly advise of the issues, strategies and process in their situation, empowering them to make educated decisions about their cases.
We specialize in a broad range of immigration matters, with a focus on family immigration, LGBT immigration, citizenship, immigrant (I-601, I-601A, I-212, Totalitarian Party) and nonimmigrant (212 d 3) waivers, asylum and humanitarian applications including VAWA and U visas, as well as artist, athlete and entertainer visas.
I am a Certified Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law – an official designation by the State Bar of California recognizing the highest level of expertise, experience and professionalism. I am also a Superlawyer each year since 2009 - a designation for the top 5% of attorneys recognizing a high level of professional achievement. I am published in the Daily Journal and multiple immigration law training manuals. I have been sought out by major media including ABC7KGO news and the San Francisco Chronicle to comment on immigration policies. I have also lectured on immigration panels and mentored pro bono attorneys.
