- Ashley assisted on a complicated immigration case, representing three young foster children in removal proceedings who had been neglected by their mother and abandoned by their father. Ashley had the knowledge and tools to successfully close the removal proceedings, and obtain permanent residency (green card) for each child. Although the case lasted four years and presented significant legal challenges, Ashley persevered to provide the children with stability in their lives.

- Q. can i get my money back? i was pying an immgration lawyer but canceled after paying 6000 what can i do.
- A: I recommend reviewing your retainer agreement to see what it says about issuing a refund. I would be cautious with relying on USCIS for information, sometimes their records are not accurate. You should also meet with an attorney to see what other options you have.
- Q. Can I travel in & out of the US if I lost my green card, or do I need to replace it first?
- A: If you have a two year green card you should apply to remove the conditions on your residence (Form I-751 if you received your green card through your US Spouse) 90 days before the expiration date on the card. Once that application is approved you will receive a 10 year green card.
You should always have a valid card when you try to re-enter the country. You should contact an attorney for help.
- Q. I just got married and my wife has been living here since 16. She entered with visitors visa. Any advice?
- A: If you are a U.S. citizen you should contact an attorney for help. It is important that the attorney review your wife's immigration and criminal history before any documents are filed. The attorney should also explain the current risks of filing for someone who is undocumented.
