In 2015, we purchased a historic property in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia and formed this company. Over the next few years, we entered into a phased historic rehabilitation project that was successfully completed in the Spring of 2021. Since finishing the project, we have lived, worked in and managed short term and long term residences, an office co-space, cafe and event venue. The experience was challenging and invaluable. I had the opportunity to oversee a 22,000 square foot building's historic rehabilitation which involved coordinating and collaborating with a terrific team of financial experts, accountants, architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors. This was one of the more rewarding experiences of my life and I am eager to engage in another project of a similar kind in the future.

Responsible for representing injured workers before the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission and the Virginia Court of Apple. In addition, I represented Social Security Disability applicants before the Social Security Administration and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. We also represented several large employers and insurance companies in Virginia Workers Compensation cases which allowed me to have a balanced perspective. The opportunity to represent both sides of the cases offered invaluable insight for my practice. I participated in the full range of activities for my clients including hearings, trial proceedings, discovery depositions, voluminous writtens correspondence and drafting of documents, oral advocacy before appellate courts and mediations.
