Described by one of Texas' premier law firms as a "real go-getter who is tenacious and effective," Barry consistently ranks as a favorite choice among individuals and small businesses confronted with workplace disputes. In 2006, Barry earned the distinction of being named as one of D Magazine's “Best Lawyers under 40 in Dallas." Texas lawyers named Barry a “Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. He is named a "Texas Super Lawyer" for Employment Litigation - Plaintiffs for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2016 and 2017, D Magazine recognized Barry as one of the "Best Lawyers in Dallas" in the Labor & Employment category.
But that's what you can read on his website. What about how it is to work with Barry and use him as your lawyer? The answer is simple. Barry is passionate about what he does and who he represents. He brings that same passion to each client relationship. He personally returns all client calls and client e-mails. He devises the strategy and executes it. Equally important, he will be candid with clients about problems in their case and how to best address them. Because of the personal attention that he affords each client, Barry is only able to help a small number of the people who contact him. If you believe that Barry would be a good fit for you, please contact him.
When Barry is not practicing law, he brings the same level of passion to his relationships as a husband, son, father, and friend. He is active in his community. He enjoys baseball, mountain biking, hiking, and most outdoor activities. His most recent challenge is learning to train the family's puppy.

Consultations are offered on an hourly and flat fee basis depending on the type of consultation. They generally are not free. In our experience with law firms that offer free consultations, you often get what you pay for. The one exception is consultations for overtime pay violations. Barry does not charge a consultation fee for consultations for overtime pay violations. But fees should not deter you from obtaining a consultation. Barry offers reduced fee consultations on a limited basis based on a number of factors, including the nature of your legal dispute and Barry's interest in your case. If you believe your circumstances merit a reduced fee consultation, please don't hesitate to ask.
