9 Questions Answered
- Q. Would I still receive lost wage payments after being terminated if I was cleared to return to work under light duty?
- A: It does not appear that you were terminated for misconduct and your employer does not have work available within your restrictions, therefore, I think you should still be receiving lost wage payments from workers comp unless you have reached overall maximum medical improvement (MMI).
- Q. Question about Florida Workers Compensation Lawyer MSA settlement
- A: Yes. The law allows an attorney to be paid a percentage of any benefits secured and an MSA is a benefit secured for, and on behalf of, the injured worker.
- Q. Does each injured body part in a FL work comp have it's own 1-year statute of limitation for medical care?
- A: The statute of limitations applies to the whole claim.
