Brian Wright
The Cowan Law Firm, LLC
During his two years as a law assistant to Superior Court Judge Cindy Morris, Brian Wright saw the practical side of how the law affects people. Though his interest in the law and the way the courts protect the rights of people carried him through law school, it was seeing it all in action that drove home his desire to pursue practicing civil litigation. Brian then spent six years with Minor, Bell & Neal, P.C., where he represented businesses and health care providers in a wide variety of litigation and risk management matters. In 2012, Brian joined The Cowan Law Firm where he focuses on business litigation, family law, and personal injury.
When working on a case, he keeps in mind that for his client this is likely the most important issue in their life during that time. They come to him to resolve a problem so they can move on with their lives. Solving problems and finding solutions that everyone is happy with takes creativity. Brian isn’t afraid to think outside of the box to find creative solutions to help meet the needs of everyone involved. His reputation as a good and honest attorney is important to him and his ability to best represent his clients.
Brian lives in Dalton, Georgia, where he has served as President of the Conasauga Bar Association. He enjoys running, trivia, and softball. Volunteer and civic activities include Habitat for Humanity, United Way of Northwest Georgia, Kiwanis Club of Dalton, and Dalton Civitan Club.
