Legal Answers
24 Questions Answered
Q. What are my options right now?
A: If you ever applied for and obtained DACA, then you might be able to request a travel authorization so you can depart the country and safely return with a legal entry. If you never obtained DACA or any other status, and you entered without inspection (no visa), then your husband will need to file a petition for you, and then you will need to apply for a waiver for unlawful presence in the U.S. This is a very difficult process and will require you to retain legal counsel. Upon approval of the provisional waiver, you will be able to return to the U.S. Consult with an attorney as soon as possible. Good luck!
Q. what contract is required to be implemented to assure that your customers don't reach out to your seller and vice versa?
A: You may be referring to a Non-Compete or a Non-circumvention agreement.
Q. Can more than one person's death be included in an affidavit of survivorship?
A: When a property is held as Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship (JTROS), or as Tenants By the Entirety (TBE), the property passes to the surviving tenant. Once the first of your parents passed away, the property passed by operation of law to the other surviving spouse. Thus, the probate process should be of the Estate of the Surviving Spouse only.
