Biography

Craig primarily focuses on representing high-value commercial and residential real estate holders. He excels at crafting effective legal strategies and solutions, whether through negotiation or litigation, to address a wide range of real estate issues. With over 750 court appearances in his career, Craig has honed his skills in municipal, justice, county, district, and federal courts.

In the realm of real estate litigation, Craig’s cases have encompassed matters such as neighborhood homeowner association disputes, easements, encroachments, trespass, landlord-tenant disputes (both commercial and residential), including eviction proceedings, brokerage fee disputes, and leasehold damage and repair issues. Additionally, he has provided legal counsel to commercial roofing contractors in payment disputes.

Craig Novak's Previous Legal Experience
Before joining the Sprigg-Novak Law Firm, Craig practiced law at an AV-rated firm with a focus on various litigation areas, including family law, debt collection, probate, and criminal law.

During his time at Law School, Craig was honored with being selected to be a Law Review Member and through his work correcting legal research and editing other’s pre-publications academic papers, learned how to draft a pithy argument, and cut down a sentence to bring its utmost impact. Craig’s own paper was published in the American University School of Law, law review.

Community Involvement

Craig believes in Community involvement as has spent years as a Frisco Chamber of Commerce member and Ambassador, a board member of the Frisco Library who was part of the decision to build the gorgeous new library from a former rocket factory, and was a 3-year member of the Collin County Bar Association Board of Directors.
