Daniel Rosefelt & Associates, LLCDaniel Rosefelt has been a dual licensed tax attorney for over 25 years and a Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. He is the principal of the tax law firm of Daniel Rosefelt & Associates, LLC. The firm represents individuals and businesses with serious tax issues in the Washington D.C. Metro area, in Florida, throughout the United States and internationally. Mr. Rosefelt's practice focuses on representing individuals and small businesses with serious tax problems such as un-filed tax returns, audits, criminal tax investigations, administrative appeals, tax court litigation, unpaid payroll taxes and resolution of large tax debts for high income individuals through the offer in compromise program or by discharging tax in bankruptcy. Mr. Rosefelt regularly appears before the United States Tax Court, the Bankruptcy Court and administratively before the Internal Revenue Service, the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue, the Comptroller of Maryland and various state taxing authorities. Mr. Rosefelt previously was an Adjunct Professor of Tax Law and Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated with honors in 1991, was a Legal Research & Writing Teaching Fellow and published member of Law Review. Before attending law school, Mr. Rosefelt worked in public accounting and private industry as an auditor and tax accountant. Mr. Rosefelt graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
