Derrick is a Child Welfare Law Specialist, certified by the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC), as well as an NC State Bar Board-Certified Family Law Specialist. Derrick is admitted to practice in the State Courts of North Carolina, in the three Federal Districts in North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the D.C. District Court and Circuit Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
