Elizabeth Rice
Brown & Rice, PA
Elizabeth Rice knows that obtaining justice demands sound case preparation, skill, knowledge, experience and the determination to obtain a fair result. Elizabeth will challenge anyone who has wrongfully victimized our client’s health, safety, liberty, or well-being. It is her mission is to provide tireless, dedicated representation to her clients.
She has always maintained the highest standard in managing her cases. She works tirelessly. While she was a prosecutor there was a rumor that she never went home. The joke was that she slept there. This is because when she got her teeth into a case she would not rest until she had attacked it from every angle. As a prosecutor she was frequently the first in and last out; working tirelessly nights and weekends. This is how she will work for you.
Elizabeth has called Florida home for most of her life. She is dedicated to the best welfare of the State and its citizens. She knows the community and recognizes its benefits and its challenges. Elizabeth attended Engelwood Elementary School and Jackson Middle School (it was Jackson Jr. High at the time). Elizabeth graduated from Colonial High School. (It is great to be a grenadier!) Elizabeth earned her Bachelors’ degree from the University of Central Florida followed by her Juris Doctorate Law degree from the Barry Andreas University School of Law, also here in Central Florida. She is a member of the Florida State Bar and the Orange County Bar Association. She has practiced extensively in the 9th Judicial Circuit. She knows this community and its legal system.
You and your family:
Elizabeth is a mom. She has two amazing son’s. She believes one of the greatest and most important roles we will be given in life is parenthood. As such she believes the right to the care custody and companionship of one’s children must be fiercely protected. She will fight for you and your children as if they were her own.
Elizabeth wants to protect your family. Not only will she fight to make sure your family unit is protected while you are here. She will help you evaluate your estate to make sure that your family is protected should you be unable to. You and your loved ones deserve that kind of peace of mind.
Your home and your finances:
Not only is Elizabeth an attorney with courtroom experience, she also has worked in the world of finance. She has worked all aspects of a finance company. Her background in finance included loan investigation and approval, consolidation, supervision, auditing, contract consolidation and collections. She knows how the business’ ins and outs. She has done loan refinance, deferments and repossessions. She is familiar with the credit system and how you are scored. If you are facing foreclosure you want someone that knows the lingo, options and outcomes. Elizabeth knows.
Defending your life and liberty:
As a former prosecutor Elizabeth has handled misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases. She has handled DUIs, drug cases, animal abuse cases, battery and assault cases, resisting officer cases, sexual cases and the list goes on. She knows how to look at a case and identify the strengths and weaknesses. She has dealt with DNA evidence and Breath evidence.
Elizabeth will also incorporate her knowledge of the community and law enforcement in your defense.
Elizabeth is aware that emotional issues often are involved. Elizabeth spent years working with and evaluating individuals with emotional and behavioral issues. She practiced as a State Certified Behavior Analyst for years. As a result she understands different diagnosis, symptoms and treatments. She knows the mental health community and understands how these mental, emotional and medical issues may be important to your defense or mitigation.
Most importantly, Elizabeth will take the time to listen and care.
There is more to Elizabeth than can be put to paper (or website as it may be). Come in and get to know Elizabeth. Her door is always open. Ask her about: her family; her passion for the community; her no kill farm, which is a forever home for a menagerie of critters; experiences as a prosecutor… and how she can help you with your legal challenges.
