Biography

Evans J. Legros is an attorney living and practicing law in New York City. He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Sociology with honors from Union College in Schenectady, New York.

While a student at Union, he spent time in Seville, Spain where he attended classes and lived with a host family. He then received a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts with a focus on International Law & Relations. While a law student, he spent an academic summer at the Faculté de Droit de l'Universite de Nice in France under the instruction of recently deceased United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

After graduating from law school, Evans immediately returned to New York, passed the New York State Bar Exam, and began work at a busy midtown Manhattan boutique law firm assigned to the Immigration Law Department. It is there that he fine-tuned his Litigation skills and successfully presented hundreds of cases before the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security.

Armed with both determination and a commitment to excellence, he successfully established the Legros Law Firm, PLLC. In its first year alone, the Legros Law Firm, PLLC has grown in all aspects, and has gained the respect of its clients, other attorneys, judges and professionals alike. Evans’ practice is primarily centered around Real Estate Law, where he is often asked to present at various Real Estate conferences and workshops. His Entertainment Law and Immigration & Nationality Law clientele include major universities, colleges, professionals, magazines, international artists, Emmy Award winning actors, award winning musicians, singers, songwriters, authors, and athletes.

Over the years Evans established the highly competitive Legros Law Firm Legal Internship Program; in its 17th year, the program continues to attract students and recent graduates from colleges and universities.
