- Q. Hi, what happen if I break the commercial lease due to slow business due corona ?
- A: Yes you could be held liable, but you would need to be name in the lease as the lessee or a guarantor to the lease.
- Q. I was engaged and rented an apartment with my partner but I traveled for work, so I never got to sign the 1 year lease.
- A: It depends on the lease terms. Typically tenants will be jointly and severally responsible for the rent amount.
- Q. If dust is left behind on the wall from pictures being on there can my landlord take out of my security
- A: It depends, but if it is normal "wear and tear", it should not have been deducted.
