Jennifer M. Cascio joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2020, focusing on personal injury, medical negligence, product liability, and mass torts. Since joining the firm, she has helped recover over $400 million for her clients. Notably, she was part of a trial team that secured a record-breaking $363 million jury verdict for a Willowbrook woman who developed breast cancer due to emissions from Sterigenics, the largest individual verdict in Illinois history. She also contributed to a $32.7 million verdict for a man who lost his leg due to a medical oversight, marking the highest verdict for a leg or foot loss in the state.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Cascio worked at an international law firm specializing in energy, environment, and infrastructure, representing a multi-billion-dollar corporation in national litigation. Her extensive experience includes litigating individual, multi-party, and mass tort cases in both state and federal courts across the U.S., handling personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial disputes.
Ms. Cascio's legal journey began at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm, where she developed a passion for advocating for victims of catastrophic injuries. At Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., she values the opportunity to work closely with her clients, helping them navigate the complexities of their cases and the personal impact of their injuries. Beyond the courtroom, Ms. Cascio has drafted legislation, lobbied, and engaged in public relations efforts.
While in law school, she was Editor-In-Chief of the Law Review, held leadership roles in national competition teams, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for her excellence in Trial Advocacy. She also served as a judicial intern to a federal judge.
Ms. Cascio is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
