Your Trusted Advisor for Immigration Law
I started my legal career as a litigator, defending railroad companies. After honing my immigration and international law experience with some of the largest law firms, I found Capstone Law in June of 2020, where I now focus on assisting multinational corporations with all facets of the immigration process, including immigration-related discrimination practices and the complexities foreign workers face during mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate restructurings. I collaborate with businesses of all sizes across diverse industry sectors to streamline the preparation of visa petitions and permanent residency applications, and to implement comprehensive employment verification compliance programs. I assist employers in acquiring employment-based visas for key personnel to work in the United States. My experience spans securing temporary, nonimmigrant work visas in categories such as E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, L-1, TN, J-1, O-1, and R-1 L, as well as permanent immigrant visas (“green cards”) through various strategies including multinational executive and manager, investment, PERM labor certification, national interest waiver, extraordinary person, professional employee, and professor/researcher pathways.
I also help guiding individuals and companies through the complexities of establishing businesses in the United States and internationally. Drawing from my international background, previous corporate roles, and multilingual abilities, I provide advice to domestic and international clients on their operational and everyday challenges. My experience as General Counsel and Director of Operations in the oil and gas sector has given me a deep understanding of the business environments my clients navigate (having lived and traveled extensively in the Middle East and supported clients across various countries including Angola, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Morocco, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, and the United Arab Emirates).
