- Q. I'm being charged with willing n knowing having stolen property and the person that gave them to me saying I didn't
- A: I didn't see a question in your posting.
The basics in a criminal matter are as follows:
1. Do NOT talk to police or the DA's office about anything. You are only required to give your name and address.
2. Remember that Bondsmen/Bondswomen, are usually NOT on your side. They provide a service, for which you pay. They are NOT doing you any favors.
3. Be patient, and get all the discovery, recordings, statements, police reports, and other materials the DA wants to use against you, BEFORE you make any kind, of a plea deal.
4. Do NOT TRUST anyone, especially someone who has any interest in the case.
5. Get all the info you can on every witness, including full names, addresses, work ... Read More
- Q. Can I sign for my ex wife on current loan paperwork if she refuses? By decree she’s not responsible for this loan anymor
- A: You can not sign for your ex-wife, without her permission, or authority.
If you are seeking a modification of your mortgage with the same lender as when you bought the house with your wife, you need to go back to the divorce court for a modified Divorce Decree. Otherwise, you should be looking for a new lender.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck!
- Q. will a possession of marijuanna arrest without a conviction keep me from obtaining a massage therapy instructor license?
- A: If you completed your DIVERSION program "satisfactory" and the judge told you in court, that your weed case was dismissed, then your application for a massage Instructor, will not be stopped or hurt, due to your past criminal charges. You should get the expungement as soon as you can.
If you had the case and the arrest removed (expunged), you would be legally allowed to say that you were not arrested for the marijuana. As things are now, you must indicate YES, whether you have been arrested, on an application with the State of Texas for any license.
Good Luck!
