Mr. Balenovich's passion is representing his clients to the fullest extent of the law. Mr. Balenovich has tried over 150 cases in 52 of West Virginia’s 55 counties. Mr. Balenovich has been counsel of record in over 2,000 criminal and civil cases in West Virginia and Kentucky. Mr. Balenovich has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the Louisville Courier Journal, and was featured on A&E’s television program After the First 48.
Besides legal work in the courtroom, Mr. Balenovich has published several scientific and legal articles in various publications. Mr. Balenovich has been a presenter and given speeches at legal seminars throughout the state.
Mr. Balenovich is married and has 4 boys. He is a member of the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral Catholic Church in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. Balenovich is a board member for the Kanawha County Bar Association. He is an assistant soccer coach and enjoys spending time camping with his friends and family.
