Contingent Fees
For Social Security disability claims the fee is (Only If You Win) 25% of the back benefits. If you lose there is no fee. For most other cases (personal injury, defective medical devices, defective drugs, Long Term Disability) the fee is also contingent (No Fee If You Lose) and the amount is usually (but not always) a fee of one third. Workers Compensation has a statutory schedule of fees that are required to be paid by the insurance company to the employee’s attorney. If there is a settlement there is a contingent fee paid to us of 20% out of the lump sum settlement of your claim.
