I am a Partner at Iorio Altamirano LLP, a securities arbitration law firm in New York City. We represent investors nationwide who have suffered investment losses due to wrongful conduct by financial advisors and brokerage firms.
Iorio Altamirano LLP has nearly 20 years of combined experience as securities arbitration lawyers. We have helped individual investors, groups of individuals, business entities, family offices, credit unions, and institutional investors recover nearly $100 million in investment losses.
I have handled hundreds of FINRA arbitration claims and have worked closely with retail and institutional investors. I combine my broad experience in the securities arbitration field with skillful client relationship management.
My partner August Iorio and I share a set of values, skills, and viewpoints that are highly complementary. The formation of our law firm is guided by the belief that contingency work should not be cookie-cutter or one size fits all. We started this practice to provide thoughtful, forward-thinking advice that is tailored to each client’s specific needs and interests.
I received my trial training through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA).
At Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, I represented political asylum seekers and low-income clients through the Immigration Section of the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic. I also interned for the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker in the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Before attending law school, I graduated from the University of Central Florida, where I majored in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. I was a Dean’s List member.
I am admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
