Kate Zigtema
Ms. Zigtema is a Kansas City native, attending Notre Dame de Sion High School. Ms. Zigtema graduated from Georgetown University, Washington, DC with a double major in International Business and Finance prior to obtaining her law degree from the University of Kansas. During her time at KU, Ms. Zigtema worked for the Johnson County District Attorney's Office gaining trial experience in the adult felony division . After graduation, Ms. Zigtema entered into private practice
Ms. Zigtema's practice is primarily focused on criminal, traffic and juvenile defense at all levels, from investigation to the Kansas Supreme Court. Ms. Zigtema also works in the Federal District of Kansas as a criminal defense lawyer.
Ms. Zigtema's experience includes defense of offenses including first degree murder, sex offenses, drug/alcohol and property offenses. Ms. Zigtema has argued before the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court.
