Claimed Lawyer Profile
Biography

I have been helping injured workers secure Workers’ Compensation benefits and assisting disabled individuals in obtaining Social Security Disability benefits since 2002.

I joined The Wilhite Law Firm in 2005 and became a managing partner in 2009. Currently, I oversee the Workers’ Compensation Department and the Social Security Disability Department.

Throughout my career, I have achieved several professional milestones, including successfully arguing in Federal District Court on behalf of Social Security clients and presenting oral arguments at the Colorado Court of Appeals in Workers’ Compensation cases. I am a board member of the Workers Compensation Section of the Colorado Bar Association, and a board member of the Workers’ Compensation Education Association. I am a long standing member of the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group and National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives. Additionally, I was honored as a Super Lawyer in 5280’s Super Lawyers Magazine from 2011 to 2024.

I grew up in Ft. Collins, Colorado, where I attended Fort Collins High School before heading to Colorado State University to earn my bachelor’s degree. At CSU, I majored in Speech Communications, participated in my Chi Omega Sorority, and spent four years as a CSU Cheerleader. I attended Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas, for two years before transferring to the University of Denver Law School, where I completed my final year and earned my Juris Doctorate. During one summer, I studied comparative law at Kings College in London. I also spent three years as a Denver Nuggets Cheerleader. Now, I am married and the proud mother of two young daughters. In my free time, I volunteer on the Colorado Ballet Auxiliary Board, and I am the Sugarplum Chair of the Colorado Ballet Sugarplum Program.
