Lucas Buzzard previously clerked for the Hon. Peter W. Hall of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and served as a law clerk at the Second Circuit’s Staff Attorney’s Office.
Lucas graduated magna cum laude from the American University, Washington College of Law in 2010, where he served as an editor on the American University International Law Review. While in law school, Lucas interned for the Hon. Reggie B. Walton of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the Hon. Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He also participated in a clinic that represented indigent criminal defendants in Montgomery County, Maryland. Before law school, Lucas taught fourth grade and worked as an English instructor in Mexico City.
