Mariah S. Mitchell
Dedicated Georgia Attorney Specializing in Personal Injury and Family Law
Growing up in a multicultural household, I was shaped by my Japanese, Chinese, and African American heritage, which instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and respect. Atlanta is my first home, but my time abroad also shaped my worldview and continues to influence how I approach my work and relationships.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Japanese Language and Literature at the University of Georgia and my Juris Doctorate at the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, I discovered my passion for service, working in Family and Elder Law Clinics, clerking for a federal judge, and serving on the National Board of the National Black Law Students Association. These experiences solidified my calling to the legal profession.
After law school, I began my career in personal injury law before transitioning to prosecutorial work to balance career and motherhood. In 2024, a spiritual awakening led me to The Fairell Firm, where I found a mission that aligns with my values. Though family law was initially outside my plan—due to my personal experiences with divorce and custody battles—it has become a deeply fulfilling ministry.
Today, my role as an attorney provides me an opportunity to serve others through some of life’s most challenging moments. Representing clients is both a privilege and a responsibility I approach with the utmost care and dedication. I am proud to contribute to The Fairell Firm’s Spirit of Excellence while growing as an attorney, mother, and woman of faith.
