Whether negotiating profit-sharing arrangements, refining licensing agreements, or revising purchase and sale contracts, Dean leverages his contractual experience to deliver creative solutions to complex business challenges.
Passionate about charitable entities and their missions, Dean has assisted dozens of nonprofit founders through entity formation, structural organization, and the drafting of internal policies. He helps clients navigate the complex exempt application process and provides comprehensive compliance guidance to maintain good standing.
Dean graduated with honors from UCLA, studying Communications and English Literature. Furthering his education, he earned a Master of Entrepreneurship degree, with honorable distinction, from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Dean braved the midwestern winters to complete his J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School, and later returned to his native San Diego to earn an LL.M. in taxation from the University of San Diego.
