- Q. I need proof that I completed court supervision to appeal my FOID revocation. How do I get this proof/documentation?
- A: A certified court disposition is the official court document that shows what happened to your case from start to finish. It's usually only a few dollars and is easy to get. Just make sure they clerk stamps the disposition with the official court stamp and seal which makes it an "official" document from the court.
- Q. When does a no contact order end?
- A: Typically, in a criminal case, the no contact order ends when the case is dismissed. However, there are times when a civil order or protection or no contact order, which is separate from the criminal case, is still in place and enforceable even after the criminal charges are dismissed.
