2 Questions Answered
Q. Is a hotel liable for personal injury if they do not check on a room for three days where a person has died.
A: Difficult to answer your question with out more facts. How did the person pass away? Was it from something from the hotel? Did a crime occur that the hotel had reason to provide security agaisnt? Generally, I am not aware of an obligation to actually check on the wellfare of the customers.
Q. What is status limition on wrongful death
A: Generally the SOL is 3 years in Oregon. It can be longer depending on when the family received notice of the cause of death.
