Michael Berry
Handling employment claims and personal injury matters throughout Orange County.
Michael J. Berry stands as the founder and lead attorney at MJB Law Group. With a laser-focused dedication to litigation, he commits himself to standing up for employees who have suffered from workplace rights infringements, as well as for individuals who've been detrimentally impacted in a personal injury due to the negligence of others. In every case, Mr. Berry’s driving motivation is to ensure that justice prevails, making sure his clients are made whole and guiding them back to the semblance of their regular lives.
Before founding MJB Law Group, Mr. Berry was on the other side of the courtroom. He defended employers and worked diligently on behalf of several insurance companies, handling personal injury claims. However, in the midst of his rising career, he had an epiphany. He found that his passion was misaligned. Rather than helping corporations and insurance giants amplify their profits, he felt a deeper, more meaningful connection to aiding everyday individuals.
Over the years, Mr. Berry has cultivated extensive expertise navigating both state and federal trial arenas, as well as appellate courts and arbitration settings. His vast legal journey encompasses trials, arbitrations, depositions, mediations, appellate proceedings, and the intricate facets of pretrial written discoveries and law motions.
In 2011, Mr. Berry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California with honors—magna cum laude and as a celebrated member of Phi Beta Kappa. His academic journey continued, leading him to attain his Juris Doctor from the revered Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2014.
Licensed under the State Bar of California, Mr. Berry's legal reach extends to the United States District Court, covering both the Central and Eastern Districts of California, and the prestigious 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
