Michael E. Scholl
Originally from Newport News, Virginia, Michael Scholl graduated from Old Dominion University in 1990 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in 1993. Mr. Scholl is admitted to practice law in Tennessee state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Scholl has been certified as a Criminal Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA. He is a lifetime member of the Memphis Bar Association; served on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; is a faculty member at the TACDL Trial College; nominated as a Memphis area Super Lawyer since its inception; named as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America by the National Trial Lawyers Association; and elected as a Fellow by the Memphis Bar Foundation. Mr. Scholl was a member of the American Inns of Court and was a former Hearing Committee Member for the Board of Professional Responsibility.
