Michael J. Cronkright

I am Michael Cronkright, the owner and founder of Cronkright Law, PLLC. I represent parents, daycare workers, foster parents and other license holders against false allegations. Because of that, I practice criminal defense, family law, CPS defense and administrative law. I hold firmly to the belief that every parent, every criminal defendant and every person accused or suspected of misconduct deserves the best possible defense. Our legal system seems to be trending toward treating the accused poorly and lowering the quality of defense. Unfortunately, many clients are represented poorly by attorneys who don’t give them the time and attention they deserve. In my law firm, we work very hard to make sure every client gets excellent representation. In my practice, I work daily with clients in criminal cases, Children’s Protective Proceedings, and other forms of complex litigation. I have extensive experience defending child abuse cases, especially infant injury and death cases. I have a passion for defending the falsely accused and those treated unfairly by police, prosecutors and CPS investigators. I have served as lead trial attorney on numerous complex cases involving false allegations by children. I have extensive training and experience working with child witnesses in court. I have obtained not guilty verdicts throughout Michigan and have successfully litigated the reunification of families facing allegations by Children’s Protective Services. I have also won civil trials and successfully defended professional licenses.
