Na Lan is a director of Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert. Her practice areas are Condominium and Community Association Law, Business and Real Property Transactions and Dispute Resolution, and Immigration. Born and raised in China, she is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. She co-taught Property I at William S. Richardson School of Law as a Lecturer in Law in Spring of 2020.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law. She was the Managing Editor of the Asia Pacific Law & Policy Journal, and also served as an intern for Judge Craig Nakamura of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals.
Ms. Lan has represented clients on business formation and acquisition, contract/lease drafting, reviews and negotiation, legal due diligence, property acquisition/sales/conveyance, dispute resolution on various business/real property related matters, probate and estate planning, and various family based, employment based and business immigration matters (H1b, E1, E2, L1, R1, O1, EB1, EB2, NIW, EB3, EB4 & EB5, extension/change of status, consular processing, waiver application, appeal, prosecutorial discretion). She also has extensive experience serving as legal counsel for condominium and community associations on general consulting, collection/foreclosure and litigation matters. She co-hosts the Condo Insider show of Think Tech Hawaii.
Ms. Lan served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Legislative Action Committee, Hawaii Chapter. In 2015, she received the Public Advocate of the Year Award from CAI. She was a 2016 Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA) Leadership Institute fellow. She currently chairs the HSBA International law Section and is a Lawyer Delegate of Hawaii's annual United States District Court Judicial Conference.
She is also a licensed realtor and member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors and the Commercial Real Estate Women network.
