Q. question: the workers compensation judge made a favorable decision for me. what should happen in my case now. are ther
A: I am assuming based on your question that you are already represented by an Attorney, therefor I believe this question should be posed to your Attorney who would be in the best position to answer same.

Good luck.
Q. I was given a doctors note to be off work due to carpal tunnel caused by my job. It's been 20 days and I have not heard
A: I am sorry to hear about your recent work injury.

Assuming you provided prompt Notice of your injury to your Supervisor or Employer their Workers Compensation Carrier has 21 days to either acknowledge or deny your Claim in accordance with Section 406.1(a) of the Act.

If it has now been 21 days and you still have not heard from the Workers Compensation Carrier, it is my recommendation that you promptly contact an Attorney who is a Certified Specialist in Workers Compensation Law to discuss your rights and remedies. The Initial Consultation should be Free of Charge, and most Attorneys will accept your case on a Contingent Fee Agreement.
Q. What do I do if a doctor says they cannot do anything for my work related back I jury
A: I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your back from a work-related injury.

Unfortunately, your question does not provide enough information for me to respond. If you are treating with your primary care physician and he is telling you this because he does not want to treat a work-related injury, that is one issue, however, if the issue is that the doctor with whom you are treating is unable to provide you with any treatment for said injury that would be a different response.

It is my recommendation that you promptly contact and Attorney who is a Certified Specialist in Pennsylvania Workers Compensation Law to discuss your rights and remedies. The initial consultation will more than likely be free of charge and most Attorneys will accept your case on a Contingent Fee Basis. ... Read More
