I have represented hundred of parties, both plaintiffs and defendants, in lawsuits in state and federal courts. My favorite cases are class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) targeting senders of annoying and illegal junk faxes, robocalls, and text messages. I have litigated more than 175 class action lawsuits and been appointed as Class Counsel multiple times. Class actions are great way to level the playing field between consumers and large corporations.
Among my many other practice areas are contracts, collections, landlord tenant law, and foreign judgment registration. I am frequently hired by tenants who wish to keep their old, resolved judgments from continuing to show up on the court's website and preventing them from obtaining housing.
Outside of my law practice, I am an avid marathon runner, having completed more than 50 marathons, including running 100 miles in less than 24 hours, and I also enjoy fishing and global travel.

- Q. Do I have a case?
- A: It is unwise to post your name. I suggest you seek to edit or delete your question.
Missouri is an employment at will state. You've articulated what you believe are reasons that you were unfairly terminated. Unfairness is not unlaw, however. Look at the EEOC or MCHR websites to lean what constitutes unlawful discrimination.

- Q. Can I pursue legal action for water contamination affecting my dog?
- A: Yes. Anyone may sue anyone for anything. Whether it makes sense to sue is a better question.
Unfortunately, under Missouri law, a dog is considered personal property, just like a refrigerator. Therefore, even if you were to win a lawsuit, you'd probably only be entitled to reasonable value of an x-year-old dog on the open market, not the dog's much higher value to you as your cherished companion.
Also, you'd need expert testimony to prove that the contamination was the cause of your dog's cancer. That would be difficult to prove and could cost you thousands of dollars.
- Q. Can I file for workplace discrimination after being assaulted by a resident and receiving no action from my employer?
- A: I’m sorry that you were assaulted at work. What you describe is not unlawful discrimination, however. Per the EEOC’s website, “ If you believe that you have been discriminated against at work because of your race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, transgender status, and sexual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information, you can file a Charge of Discrimination.”
Your situation doesn’t appear to have anything to do with discrimination. If you were injured, I suggest you contact an attorney who handles workers compensation claims.
