The WCAB does not allow attorneys practicing workers compensation to bill clients directly and all attorney fees must be approved by the court. In sum, the applicant has no exposure to pay attorney fees absent an award from the court. -

- Q. My now ex attny claims to not know what happened with the WCAB hand adjusts & I've turned to Justia to get clarity.
- A: That's not true. The first answer you received was the answer. I tired to provide you with help so perhaps you could find a new attorney. It seems that all you want is to rant. - Q. Are there any legal resources that can help me write an email asking for reasonable accomodations for depression?
- A: First you must have a medical opinion that your depression is related to work and because of this you need an accommodation. Once a physician makes such a finding, then the report is in itself a request for accommodation.
In your reasonable accommodation letter, you should provide all the information your employer will need to begin the accommodation process, including what your disability is, how it affects you, which aspects of your job might require modification, and proposed accommodations.
