Sam Townsend, J.D.
Senior Associate Attorney
Sam Townsend brings extensive experience in the practice of Family Law. Specializing in matters such as divorce, child custody, grandparent rights, as well as estate planning and probate. His practice spans a broad range of jurisdictions, having represented clients in numerous county and district courts across Colorado, from the eastern plains to the western slope, in addition to the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia before pursuing his legal education at Vermont Law School, where he served as a committee chairman within the Environmental Law Society.
Before entering the legal profession, Sam gained valuable experience working several seasons in the tourism and outdoor recreation industry. Demonstrating a strong commitment to completing his goals, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. In his limited leisure time, Sam enjoys cycling and running throughout the mountains of Colorado, or spending time at home with his wife and child.
