Stephanie Marzouk
Attorney Stephanie Marzouk brings families together in the United States and fights for them to stay. Her practice focuses on immigration law. She handles family petitions, waivers, marriage-based petitions, consular processing, removal proceedings, bond hearings, asylum cases, adjustment of status, appeals, motions to reopen, mandamus for stalled cases, and naturalization.
Stephanie began her legal career at Harvard Law School, where she participated in the Criminal Justice Institute and the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project. During law school, she was a summer intern for the Orleans Public Defenders (New Orleans, LA) and the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago (Chicago, IL).
Before launching her law firm, Stephanie gained valuable experience as a staff attorney for Prisoners’ Legal Services of Massachusetts, as an associate at a general practice law firm in downtown Boston, and as a law clerk to a magistrate judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. In the years before attending law school, Stephanie worked as a teacher and a paralegal. She is proud to have completed a year of AmeriCorps national service in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She also holds degrees from Louisiana State University and the University of Minnesota.
Stephanie is active in many organizations, including serving as co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Forum of the Boston Bar Association (2019-20); co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the Women’s Bar Association (2018-19); and member of the New England chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (2016-present). She volunteers regularly with the City of Boston’s Office of Immigrant Advancement, and has given numerous Know Your Rights presentations with the PAIR Project. She is also a co-founder and past board member (2017-2019) of the Muslim Justice League.
