Biography

For the past 24 years, I have dedicated myself to advocating for individuals, families, and children. My practice centers on family law and divorce, where I aim to navigate you through your legal issues with minimal distress while ensuring you receive fair outcomes.

I am a certified family law mediator. Mediation sessions can be conducted in person, via Zoom, or over the phone. Mediation involves a neutral third party who helps parties come to agreements by focusing on essential issues and promoting the exchange of information, which helps avoid costly and stressful court battles. This approach is particularly beneficial for all parties, especially children, as it supports parents in moving forward and maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship.

Since 2018, I have been recognized as a top-rated attorney as a Super Lawyer for divorce by Milwaukee Magazine and continue to hold this title. My Avvo rating stands at a perfect 10/10 Superb, and I have been acknowledged as a Lawyer of Distinction in Family and Divorce Law.

Our team has successfully assisted numerous clients through their most challenging cases, and we are ready to support you. Contact us at 920-739-9900. Legal Answers
3 Questions Answered
Q. How do file an emergency ex parte for custody in Wi
A: You can find the forms online but in many counties in Wisconsin, the likelihood of an ex parte motion being granted is low unless there are extreme circumstances. Having an attorney will help immensely.
Q. If behind on child support can they claim children on taxes their ordered year?
A: No, they are not supposed to under federal law; however, many courts give some leeway depending on how far behind the party is. But it always depends on the wording of your order.
Q. What does the 2 out of every 3 weekends schedule look like? Is it 2 weekends a month or 2 weekends after every 3?
A: If the order says 2 out of 3 weekends, most of the time that would be are rotation. Parent A has two weekends, then Parent B has the weekend, then Parent A has two weekends followed by Parent B having the weekend.
