Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
Each case or representation, whether in or out of court, requires an Attorney Client Fee & Representation Agreement and payments of Initial and Recurring Retainer and Expense Monies by the client in order for the legal represenation to begin and continue. What may appear to be a 'simple' case to a potential client often can take as much time or more time than even serious cases, depending upon the circumstances, the levels of evidence and proof, the types of claims, any administrative remedies that must be complied with before bringing an actual lawsuit, and of course, the level of injuries or damages that can be actually proven. Except in the most significant, provable, evidence supported cases in my practice, I do not provide work on a Contingent Fee basis in most cases. The old adage "Put your money where your mouth is!" applies equally in real life to both legal and non-legal settings as an element of the person's support for their position and the viability of their claims!
