Thomas M. Seymour
Tom Seymour joined the practice of Sostrin and Sostrin in 2014. Prior to becoming an associate, Tom worked in Finance for over a decade for Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley and most recently Mayer Brown LLP managing Financial Reporting and Budgeting. Tom has been awarded the prestigious Cali Award for Future Excellence in Worker’s Compensation. His practice concentrates in representing clients in personal injury, social security disability and employees in workers’ compensation cases before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Illinois Circuit, Illinois Appellate and Social Security Administration. Tom earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Drake University in 2000, with High Honors, his Master of Business Administration (in both Finance and Accounting) from Loyola University Chicago – Graduate School of Business in 2007, with High Honors and Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in 2013. He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S Courts of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and Worker’s Compensation Lawyers Association.
