- Q. I was doing 40 over on my way to OHare, I live in Wisconsin and they want me to show up in court in 2 weeks.
- A: Do not ignore the ticket. If you do you will end up with a warrant for your arrest and probably a suspended license. You need to contact a local lawyer as soon as possible.
- Q. can u fight tickets that u received that were not you driving at the time but suspended your dl.
- A: That is a complicated issue that sometimes comes up when there has been identity theft. There probably is a way to get those taken off your driving record and clear that suspension from your license but it will not be easy. I would contact an attorney in the Springfield area to help you with this process.
- Q. How can I get this to disappear off my record
- A: You have a serious case here which can impact your driving privileges. It is also technically a misdemeanor offeense as charged. You need to consult with a lawyer. The goal ultimately would be to try and get it reduced to a petty offense but that will not be easy given the speed.
