Vincent A Wenners
Vin began his law career in 1967 as a staff attorney at the Attorney General's office in New Hampshire. From there, he entered private practice where he focused on plaintiffs' personal injury matters, including products liability, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, social security disability, and veterans' disability claims, as well as employment and labor matters. Vin has litigated in excess of 100 jury, 2,000 non-jury trials and numerous Supreme Court appeals.
Vin handled numerous administrative hearings including those before the Health Care Certificate of Need Board, New Hampshire Public Employees Labor Relations Board, Department of Labor, Administrative Law Judges, various administrative, professional, business and occupational licensing, zoning, and planning boards; author and co-author of numerous New Hampshire Supreme Court, United States, First Circuit and Court of Veterans Appeals briefs; numerous appellate oral arguments; health care (general counsel to health care system); real estate transactions; urban renewal projects; labor and employment matters, public and private sector, union and non-union; local housing authority; local airport authority; state housing financing authority; banks and credit unions; business and corporate matters; estate planning and tax matters, eminent domain proceedings, bond and bank financing and redevelopment projects such as the Hampshire Plaza, Center of New Hampshire, Manchester Millyard, and the Manchester Civic Center (SNHU) Arena.
Vin has served as counsel to various unions including the United Auto Workers, Steelworkers, PACE, Chemical Workers, AFSCME, Firefighters, and Police Supervisors; including serving as counsel to firefighters during a two week strike.
Vin has represented the New Hampshire Bankers Association, lobbied in New Hampshire Legislature, wrote in the Supreme Court regarding "NOW accounts" and the ability of savings banks to act as, and compete with, commercial banks.
