I'm passionate about the research and writing intrinsic to Texas and Federal appellate and post-conviction writ work. After growing up in Decatur, Texas, and getting a master's degree in education, my first career found me teaching English in high schools in Decatur and Hallsville, Texas. After much thought, I decided to switch careers and get a law degree at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law to focus on appellate advocacy.
