I am the senior shareholder in Coplen & Banks, PC. I have been practicing law for approximately 35 years, with extensive experience in commercial, insurance, family, probate and personal injury litigation. Because of my education background, my practice is 50% litigation and 50% business transactions, wills, trust and probate.

My clients are business owners who are concerned that they are not complying with employment laws. I work with them to create policies, procedures, and manuals and provide training, investigations, and counseling regarding hiring, firing, and compliance with employment laws. I also work with business owners who want to start, buy, operate, or sell a business or a commercial real estate property.

Ms. Cordova has been a licensed attorney for over 15 years. She is licensed in Texas, Nevada and North Carolina (currently inactive in Nevada and North Carolina). She has held positions as General Counsel and Corporate Counsel for a real estate services company and a restaurant chain. She has also worked as an associate for two established law firms and is a former State Bar Counsel for the State Bar of Texas. For almost 25 years, I have represented men and women accused of crimes in state and federal courts. Before opening my office, I served as a CIA officer for 5 years. I have also served as a special prosecutor. Very few attorneys have handled as many federal criminal cases as I have. Don’t be fooled by lawyers who spend more time and effort on advertising than they do on representing clients.

After serving as law clerk on the Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for two years, entered private practice of law in 1972. Practice includes transactional commercial and residential real estate, small business, wills and estate planning, and franchising law.

Sam Haren practices primarily in the area of business litigation. He was born and raised in Belton, Texas. Sam began his career as a securities attorney with Andrews Kurth, LLP from 2007 to 2009. He then took a position with the Texas Finance Commission from 2009 to 2010 where he enforced financial regulations against various types of lenders. In early 2010, Sam returned to private practice in the commercial litigation firm of Fernelius Alvarez PLLC. In 2012, Sam joined Hawash Meade Gaston Neese & Cicack LLP, where he focuses on commercial and insurance litigation.

B. B. McCall is an Associate at Duggins Wren Mann & Romero, LLP in Austin, Texas, specializing in delivering strategic legal counsel with a focus on intellectual property and energy law. He previously honed his legal expertise as a law clerk at Gray Becker, P.C. In addition to his legal practice, B. B. McCall serves as a JAG Officer in the Texas State Guard, providing legal support to the Guard’s mission, and as a Police Officer for the City of Lakeway, further demonstrating his dedication to public service.
